Question:
Do I have to rent my property if I buy one of these lots?
Answer:
No. You may do whatever you wish with your property, however, there are many advantages to renting a second home and most do. By buying into the "Sea Level" compound you have the benefit of the availability of in-house management with a Bahamian licensed company(the only licensed rental company on the island)that has been in business since 1989. By signing up for our Rental Program you receive a full-service rental program and your property is property tax free for nearly twenty years. If you do not rent with us you do not receive this, period. Private rental homes are not granted this exemption.
Question:
Can I change my mind and withdraw my property after having signed up for the Rental Program?
Answer:
Yes, however, you would have to honor reservations made while enrolled in the program. The Government would then be notified and your property would be subject to property tax, as any normal property would.
Question:
If I decide not to rent, can I rely on "Sea Level" for basic property management?
Answer:
Yes, we can still provide general maintenance services to your property, such as yard maintenance and coordinating contractors for larger projects.
